Overview
Jennifer runs The Good Human Group, a widely successful branding agency built largely on referrals and relationships. That work is her bread and butter, but her personal brand wasn’t keeping up with it. She was losing consulting and speaking opportunities because her website didn’t reflect the expertise people had just experienced in person.
She also had a new offer to test and wanted a digital marketing foundation that could grow with it.
The Problem
Jennifer is great in person. She would meet someone at an event, make a real connection, and follow up with her website. Then she’d never hear back.
Her sold site undercut the credibility she had just earned in the room. She was embarrassed to send it, and with good reason.
She needed a brand that was polished enough for C-suite executives but approachable enough for the peers who often bring her into those rooms.
The Surefire Strategy:
Jennifer had no visual direction when we started, so I pulled tone words from her questionnaire and our kickoff conversation: Evocative. Warm. Human. Clean. Modern. I built a mood board around them, and when I presented it, she loved it so much it brought her to tears. (her words not mine!)
“Human” is an abstract word, so we made it concrete:
- Slices of life. Blurred background photos of people collaborating show what empowerment looks like at work, without the stock photos of people high-fiving and smiling too big.
- Nature and warmth. Soft, blurred nature imagery and a warm, approachable palette bring in humanness.
- Modern edge. Glassy containers nod to tech and keep the brand from feeling too earthy, even with many visual assets in play.
- Refined type. A serif adds polish and authority without feeling stiff.
The Four C’s animation is the centerpiece. Jennifer’s framework is the backbone of her consulting, and a custom animation guides the viewer’s eye through it as one connected system, not a menu of options. That matches how she works: assessing where a company needs to improve and moving through the process in order.
Because Jennifer is testing and refining a new offer, we built a one-page site in three weeks. It gives her a strong foundation she can expand as her offer evolves. We went through many design options to land here, making sure the copy and visuals flow together and every section leads the eye to what comes next.

Results
Before, Jennifer avoided sending her website. Now, she sends it with confidence.
She took the new site to a conference and shared it with every new connection, proud that it represented her offers and expertise. She loves how it looks and knows she can send a lead there and it will build value for her consulting and speaking.
