Stacy Eleczko

A messaging and positioning strategist and website copywriter with multiple offers serving B2B brands. When it comes to branding & strategy, she came to the project with her copy already written and a clear vision for where her brand was headed.

Overview

Stacy had been working with another designer for months and had nothing to show for it. She came to me ready to move and we got her refreshed identity and entire website designed, developed, and launched in two weeks.

The Problem

Stacy is the queen of messaging and positioning, and she needed a unique brand and website to reflect that. As a website copywriter herself, it was extremely important that she felt confident and proud to share her site with prospects, as well as have a place to have her newsletters live as a resource for her audience.

The Surefire Strategy:

With copy and brand direction already in place, this project was about execution with a strategic eye. Stacy came with a visual direction that she ideated with another designer, Sarah Hart. The job here was to bring that direction to life in a way that felt intentional and elevated.

We also reworked her logo wordmark. The previous version skewed feminine and delicate in a way that didn’t match the boldness of her new brand direction. We pushed it to feel more confident and legible.

Even with copy already written, the strategic lens stayed on throughout. As a copywriter herself, Stacy had a lot to say; which meant someone needed to be the editor. When content was working against the user experience, we flagged it and worked through it together.

Results

Two weeks from kickoff to launch. Stacy went from stuck and embarrassed by her website to proud to share it.
